Focusing all her time on straight A’s, marching band, and graphic & fashion design classes. she traveled to new york with her class to meet with fashion designers and was introduced into the industry as a young student. It was then that she realized her love for fashion and the power of creating something by hand.

she went on to college at University of North Texas and got her BFA in fashion design and a minor in merchandising. during college, she received the neiman marcus scholarship for fashion design in 2011 and honors day award in fashion design in 2012. later, she placed in the top 3 at dallas little black dress designer competition 2013.

Before finishing school, she was hired as an intern then asked to stay full time at a local advanced contemporary & custom womenswear company in Addison, Nha Khanh. her role grew into assistant designer and initiative manager, overseeing the ready-to-wear and custom department for three years. There she was able to learn directly from the talented designer and craft handwork skills required for custom work.

She is now working at a licensed apparel company during the day and side hustling Devereaux Designs on nights and weekends.
